Seattle Children Museum Nature Explorers Booklet: Winter Edition

We are thrilled to share the the launch of the Seattle Children’s Museum Nature Explorers Guide, WINTER Edition, debuting for winter 2024!

This is the second in a seasonal series that began with a summer edition (see details here).

We created this activity guide for the Seattle Children’s Muses as an activity booklet for young visitors, adapting our own material from our monthly subscription program (retired in 2022), with the goal of supporting the museum’s mission of to engage children, and the people who care for them, in playful, creative, hands-on exploration and discovery.

The activity booklet includes coloring and activity pages for preschoolers and early elementary kids about winter weather, local Seattle area habitats, ferns, moss, and sensory activities. The activities are black and white; the color cover includes a map with park recommendations for the region.

This booklet is available at the front desk when you visit Seattle Children’s Museum.
