Created for the winter season - but great anytime of year - this packet focuses on the mighty evergreens that take center stage in the winter months in the Pacific Northwest. Use the map to explore the Fir and Redwood trails in Hoyt Arboretum along a ~1 mile loop that was created to showcase the evergreen variety.
The packet focuses on identifying features of different kinds of evergreen trees found along the route, and includes stickers and Field Guide activities designed to help kids become tree "detectives." The Field also includes drawing, coloring, and maze activities for added learning and fun.
With this packet, kids can start to feel like tree experts!
The result is a special nature adventure that's perfect for the winter season!
